CARMEL, IN– Democratic Candidate for Carmel City Council, Jessica Irvine, proudly announces her latest fundraising statistics from the most recent financial reporting period, reflecting overwhelming support from individual donors in the community.
The Irvine campaign boasts a remarkable 89 unique individual donors, with an average direct contribution of $180.74. In stark contrast, her opponent reported only 12 unique individual donors, averaging $433.33 per donation.
Irvine also outraised her incumbent opponent by more than 2 to 1 during this reporting period, raising $22,977 to his $10,350.
While funding plays a pivotal role in any campaign, the source of the donations tells a compelling story. A whopping 95% of Irvine's total donations come from individuals, underscoring her grassroots approach and resonance with everyday voters. Her opponent's statistics tell a different tale – with a mere 50% of his funding coming from individuals and the remaining 50% from corporations and PACs.
Additionally, Irvine's campaign has kept corporate and PAC donations to a minimum. She has accepted only 3 such donations, totaling $1,100, compared to her opponent's 7 donations from corporations or PACs, summing up to $5,150.
